wasteLAnd is a Los Angeles-based concert series featuring avant-garde and experimental music, focusing on local performers and living composers. SEASON 8
COMMISSIONS & PROJECTS

Season 8 brings you special video productions in collaboration with several artists we are excited about. Rather than trying to recreate the concert experience, we wanted to make something that visually engages with the music. We commissioned Carmina Escobar and Chris Williams to create videos with their favorite artists while we directed and produced works by Davíð Brynjar Franzson, Silvia Cignoli, and Kimia Koochakzadeh-Yazdi. We are looking forward to sharing these four nights together with you in the coming months. So, get comfortable, pull up YouTube on your favorite device, pour yourself a beverage, grab a tasty snack, and enjoy each premiere with us!
