wasteLAnd revisits Season Three Featured Composer Michelle Lou, reinvestigating her untitled three part construction which we first performed in February of 2016. This performance will explore a new version for amplified trombone that embraces the long term relationship of both Matt and wasteLAnd with Michelle. Timothy McCormack's massive Kiln I and George Lewis' Oraculum explore a different lens through which we can experience sludge, debris, virtuosity, and fascination.
