Surrounding the audience, wasteLAnd performs an evening of music about memory, liquid structures, submersion, and bliss. The music retraces its steps, reorders its elements, and delights in nuances. The program includes the premiere of a new work by Silvia Cignoli as well as a recent work for piccolo and electronics by Kimia Koochakzadeh-Yazdi, a participant in wasteLAnd’s inaugural Summer Academy for Composition in 2019.
